Browsing and privacy

No account needed

We never save your searches or build a health profile. Your search answers and location stay in this page’s memory and clear when you reload. They aren’t stored in cookies or browser storage. Sharing sends only the homepage link.

What we collect

There are no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Browsing and comparing services does not require patient details or payment.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process IP addresses and technical request logs to deliver and protect the service.

Booking and payment

When you choose Book for me · Find STI Tests

We use the name, email address and appointment you choose to arrange your booking with the clinic through its booking system. We do not request test results, medical records or sexual history.

Booking details are encrypted while we complete and check the appointment, then deleted from our booking system within 24 hours. The clinic keeps its own appointment record under its privacy policy.

Essential booking cookies let you return to an interrupted checkout for up to 24 hours. A short-lived status receipt contains no name, email, clinic or appointment details. Request limits use random identifiers, not your searches.

Stripe handles your card or wallet payment. We keep a separate payment reference, amount, date and payment status for accounting and payment recovery; these records do not contain your test or appointment details.

The assistance fee is collected after the clinic confirms the appointment. If a technical failure prevents us from completing the booking, we release the payment hold or refund the assistance fee. Contact the clinic directly for appointment changes or cancellations.

How we measure site use

Aggregate service measurement

We count public page views, provider listing displays, outbound handoffs and clicks on Book through us. Confirmed bookings are counted separately only after our booking system receives provider confirmation. Counts are stored as daily site-wide and provider totals for up to one year; authorised providers can see only their own totals, and site administrators can see site-wide totals.

Book through us clicks and confirmed bookings become available only when a provider is activated.

Measurement does not store individual event histories, visitor or session identifiers, search terms, health answers, page addresses or personal locations on our servers. To estimate browsing sessions with outbound handoffs, this tab temporarily remembers which providers have already been counted and the time of the last handoff. The marker resets after 30 minutes without a handoff, after 12 hours, or when the tab session ends. It is not shared across tabs or devices. We receive only the provider code and whether to increment daily counts, never a session identifier. If browser storage is unavailable, session counting is skipped. Measurement uses no cookies and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Reports count activity and approximate tab sessions, not unique people or medical outcomes. Our hosting provider still processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site.

We also count arrivals from approved partner links and referring websites. We recognise only listed partner codes or website domains in your browser and send only the source code and whether it came from a tagged link or website. We never send or store the full referring address, link parameters or a visitor identifier in these counters. Daily source totals are kept for up to one year and are visible only to site administrators. These separate partner-arrival counters do not connect a referral to your searches or bookings, and it respects the same privacy controls.

Journey measurement

We also count journey stages, sorting and filter interactions, service views, handovers and booking outcomes. Only a broad acquisition category, entry route and relevant public provider or service codes are included in daily totals; no filter values or health answers are sent. This tab keeps temporary counting markers until the tab session ends or the day changes. A random delivery code prevents duplicate counts and expires within two days; it is not a visitor identifier or linked event history. For an eligible booking, the broad acquisition category and entry route remain inside the existing encrypted booking record until that record expires, within 24 hours. The resulting daily counters are retained for up to one year.

Patient reviews

Ratings are optional. Find STI Tests sends review invitations through Resend after the scheduled appointment, using appointment and contact details from the clinic’s connected booking system. An invitation does not confirm that you attended. We do not need your test results or medical records.

We display the service’s average score and review count, starting with its first genuine rating. Names and email addresses are not displayed. A first rating, timing or other information may still allow someone to infer who submitted it. We do not promise anonymity.

Ratings accumulate without automatic expiry. Separate invitation, delivery and opt-out records support sending, duplicate prevention and privacy requests. These records can remain linkable; website feedback’s 90-day retention policy does not apply to patient reviews.

You can optionally save a private review reference after submitting. Anyone with that reference can remove the rating. Manage your review. The invitation’s unsubscribe link stops future invitations; removing a rating does not.

For other privacy requests or a lost reference, email privacy@unfairdavid.com. Please do not send medical records. We may need additional information to identify the correct record and will explain if we cannot locate it.

Feedback and city requests

Website feedback

You can send feedback without a name, email address or account. We store the answer you submit, your optional comment, feedback category, interface language, date and whether you used the results, service or footer form. A service-page report includes the listing code so we can check it. We do not attach search answers, selected tests, location, browsing history or an account identifier.

Feedback is stored privately in our EU-hosted Supabase database, available only to site administrators, and automatically deleted after 90 days. To limit spam, we keep separate daily request counters using a rotating code derived from your IP address; these expire within two days and are not stored with your feedback. Our hosting provider still processes technical requests. Please do not include medical or identifying information. This form is not monitored for urgent help, medical advice or booking support.

Feedback is not published as a review or testimonial. Any future satisfaction summary will identify its question, period and response count. Voluntary responses do not measure clinical quality or confirmed bookings.

City requests

Request a city prepares an email in your email app. Nothing is sent by the form. If you choose to send the draft, we receive your email address and message. Do not include medical or identifying information.

Listings and ordering

When you visit a provider

The provider’s privacy policy applies on its website. We send no referring-page information. Information you give the provider, including questionnaires, booking details, payments and test results, is handled by that provider.

How results are ordered

Commercial relationships do not influence which services we show or how we rank them. Results follow your selected sorting preference.

SOONEST: Verified upcoming slots first, then published walk-in access and appointment routes. Confirm availability with the provider.
CHEAPEST: Lowest displayed prices first. Extra costs may apply; prices to confirm appear last.
CLOSEST: Approximate straight-line distance from your location or the centre of your chosen area. These are not walking distances.

Your clinical care

We compare services, not clinical quality. A broader or more expensive test panel is not necessarily more appropriate. A clinician can help you decide what you need.

How we check service information

We compare published provider information with the public booking route where accessible. A source review checks the stated service, price and access conditions; it does not verify checkout totals, clinical quality or current appointment inventory.

Service reviews, booking-route inspections and live calendar checks have separate dates. Conflicting prices and unverified details remain visible. Published prices can change; confirm the full cost and eligibility with the provider.

To report an incorrect listing, email feedback@unfairdavid.com. Include the provider and the information that needs correcting. Please do not send health details or booking records.
